Righto, we’re up to Workshop Update number six, and if you’ve been following along, thanks heaps for sticking with us. The support, the messages, the orders, it’s all been unreal. Let’s dive into what’s been happening in the workshop.
Manifolds Flying Out the Door
We’ve had a solid run on manifolds lately, mainly 2JZ gear. There’s one we sent out recently in this nice deep purple anodised finish. As always, these are full billet 6061, machined in-house, and built to handle big power. Drive-by-wire or cable throttle, you choose. And if you're after something different, like carbon or Kevlar options we’ve got you covered.
1JZ Builds Popping Off
DJZ Fabrications up in Queensland have been ordering a few 1JZ units, they’ve gone with raw billet and DBW throttle bodies. Looks clean. Feels like people are really starting to see the value in what we’re doing, proper gear, fair pricing, no patch jobs.
Back to Our Roots with RBs
Can’t talk manifolds without RBs. It’s where we started, back in the day cutting down stock runners and welding sheet metal plenums. Now? We’re sending out full billet setups in anodised black with perfect sealing and enough flow for serious horsepower. RB25, RB26, 12-injector combos, carbon plenums, billet water rails, we’ve been flat out with them. Most of it’s sitting in stock and ready to go.
Cam Covers Making a Comeback
One of the most exciting bits? Cam covers are back! We’ve just finished the RB26 version, and we’re working on others, RB25 with VCT, RB30 front covers, all with laser-etched logos and anodised finishes. You can choose what’s on the top, RB26, RB28, RB30, whatever suits your build. We’ve sorted out the AN fittings too so they sit nice and clean once it’s installed. Keep an eye out, pre-orders are opening soon.
Billet Heads and Blocks: Yes,,,it’s happening
Big news, the billet 2JZ cylinder head we made for Rod Harvey is done and dusted. He’s got two in rotation now and reckons they’re holding up well. It’s been a massive project, but it’s paid off.
And here’s the big one: we’re kicking off billet 2J blocks. Rod gave us access to his original design, and we’re bringing it back to life. It’s going to be tricky with the gear we’ve got, but we’re up for it. I’ll share the process, good, bad, and everything in between, so you can follow along.
What’s Next?
That’s where we’re at. If you’re chasing any of the stuff mentioned, want something custom, or just want to have a yarn, shoot through an email to info@cpc.store or hit up the site at www.cpc.store.
More updates to come. We’re just warming up for 2025.
